PRESS RELEASE: ShelterBox Australia Accepted as Interim Member of ACFID

Sydney, Australia – October 10, 2025
ShelterBox Australia is proud to announce its acceptance as an interim member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID), marking a significant milestone in its commitment to humanitarian excellence and accountability.
The decision was confirmed at the August 2025 meeting of ACFID’s Code of Conduct Committee, where ShelterBox Australia was approved for Code Signatory Status and recommended for interim membership. This recognition reflects ShelterBox’s alignment with ACFID’s rigorous standards for transparency, effectiveness, and ethical practice in international development and humanitarian response.
“We are honoured to join ACFID’s community of respected humanitarian organisations,” said Mike Greenslade, CEO of ShelterBox Australia. “This interim membership affirms our dedication to delivering life-saving aid with integrity and compassion and strengthens our ability to collaborate across the sector.”
