Michael Kuzilny
Michael Kuzilny has spent more than 30 years working within Australia’s criminal justice system.
A former Police Officer, respected Criminal Defence Lawyer, national television legal commentator and award-winning television presenter, Michael has represented thousands of people whose lives changed forever in a single moment.
His unique career has allowed him to see the justice system from both sides—first as a police officer investigating crime and later as a lawyer standing beside people during the most difficult moments of their lives.
Michael believes every person deserves to be heard, and every story deserves compassion, fairness and understanding.
He previously hosted the award-winning television series Tough Times Never Last, featuring inspiring conversations with remarkable Australians who overcame adversity.

Mary Binakaj
Joining Michael is Mary Binakaj, whose warmth, compassion and authenticity bring a unique dimension to the series.
Mary is the former owner of the internationally recognised Ora to Ora fashion label, having successfully designed, manufactured and distributed fashion throughout Australia before dedicating her life to helping others.
Today, Mary is a respected life coach who supports women through life’s challenges, encouraging resilience, confidence and personal growth.
Her genuine empathy and ability to connect with people allow guests to feel comfortable enough to share stories they may never have spoken about publicly before.
Together, Michael and Mary create an authentic partnership that combines experience, compassion and curiosity.
