PRESS RELEASE: Sydney-based startup AusVitality launches Australia’s first ‘Adaptropic’ tackling burnout and cognitive fatigue head on.

Sydney, 3rd February, 2022 – Sydney-based startup AusVitality has today launched Australia’s first ‘Adaptropic’ with one dollar for every bottle sold donated to the Black Dog Institute.

Their flagship ‘Adaptropic’, Mindlift, is a blend that is specifically formulated with nootropics and adaptogens, along with medicinal mushrooms, vitamins, minerals and specific amino acids, all in one.

Mindlift is an ‘adaptropic’ because it combines both nootropics with adaptogens and is the first of its kind, manufactured right here in Australia.

The new product harmoniously targets different neurological pathways and bodily systems to improve cognitive performance, reduce stress, mild anxiety and help people take better care of their overall wellbeing.

Nootropics have been used for thousands of years, from caffeine in coffee to L-theanine in green tea, chances are you’ve had some nootropics already today.

Adaptogens are natural substances, typically derived from plants and are shown to have significant health benefits helping people ‘adapt’ to stress and lower cortisol levels.

In developing Mindlift, entrepreneurial duo and co-founders of AusVitality, Gareth Lloyd and David Jones-Hawke, believed that while there are thousands of supplements out there, none ticked all their boxes – so they decided to create one themselves.

“We knew we wanted to combine nootropics and adaptogens into one high quality supplement, however before we jumped into creating our product, we decided to test existing products on the market” said Lloyd.

“We found that many of the local brands lacked variety when it came to quality adaptogens and nootropics, and many of the overseas brands were unregulated and not batched tested for quality. This made us even more confident in what we had in mind. Put simply, we wanted to create a great value daily supplement with enough of the good stuff to actually works.”

Mental health is an issue very close to both founders Gareth Lloyd and David Jones-Hawke who have both witnessed first hand how mental health affects everyday Australians.

“AusVitality was founded at a time when we were both overworked, dealing with stress and burnout,” said Jones-Hawke.

“Our vision from day one was to create the highest quality and most effective science-backed supplements that adhered to our core values of quality, efficacy and sustainability, all while giving back to the mental health sector who are experiencing unprecedented challenges at the moment.”

Lloyd and Jones-Hawke have an interest in natural approaches to health and wellbeing, and have seen how making small changes in your daily routine can have drastic effects on your life.

“We started to work closely with nutritionists, naturopaths and chemists to design a quality product that really works. Supplements aren’t a quick fix. We see them as another tool you can use to improve everyday performance, coupled with a healthier diet and regular exercise,” said Lloyd.

AusVitality uses ethically-sourced ingredients from around the world and takes great pride in researching and producing their products right here in Australia. More so, their products are housed in 100% recycled medical-grade amber glass bottles to protect against UV light. The company also uses uncoated 100% recycled cardboard to ship their products, using green energy providers.

Mindlift is approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration and underwent an extensive selection process by their team of experts. It’s also vegan friendly, cruelty-free and caffeine free.

Ultimately, the duo want to see their products improve their customers’ lives, and be part of a brighter and more sustainable future.
