PRESS RELEASE: Thinlabs Australia Awarded Major West Moreton HHS Supply Contract

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Thinlabs Australia Awarded West Moreton HHS Supply Contract to supply Thinlabs low-power Medical Computer Monitors and Complete Cart solutions.

Brisbane, QLD – 10 September 2025 – Thinlabs Australia has been awarded a significant contract by West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (HHS) to supply over 150 Thinlabs medical-grade high-definition display monitors, mounted on Ergotron SV42 medical carts, equipped with Zebra scanners and monitors, and Man & Machine medical-grade keyboards and mice.

The award follows a comprehensive and competitive procurement process, with Thinlabs selected for its strong value proposition, competitive pricing, and commitment to long-term customer outcomes.

“This is a fantastic outcome for our team and a great vote of confidence in the solutions we’re bringing to Australian healthcare,” said Simon Mair, Director of Thinlabs Australia. “We’re focused on bundling our green, low energy consuming computing solutions with partnerships with leading vendors to provide outcomes that make life easier for clinicians and ICT teams — not just on day one, but for the long haul.”
A cornerstone of the project has been the deep partnership between Thinlabs, Ergotron, and Zebra – three organisations working together with a shared goal: delivering innovative, reliable solutions that support the real-world needs of clinical and technical staff. The group has taken a long-term view of supporting West Moreton HHS, focused on reducing complexity, improving reliability, and delivering measurable cost savings.
Thinlabs stands out for its unmatched customer and warranty support, delivered by a locally based team of high-calibre professionals. Since its inception, Thinlabs’ strong value proposition — centred on putting clinicians first, building sustainable partnerships, and doing what we say we’ll do — has helped attract experienced, hands-on team members with deep backgrounds in Queensland and New South Wales Health.
Blake Barron, Asset Manager of West Moreton HHS said, “We had to go beyond the current frameworks to look for innovative solutions and ran a competitive RFQ process to evaluate computing solutions that best met our clinical needs and provided long-term value.

We’re glad to say that Thinlabs’ responses meet these needs and offer the best value and total cost of ownership over the next 5 years.”

West Moreton HHS ran a competitive RFQ process, particularly in an environment where innovative competition is often constrained by existing contracting frameworks. Their openness to market engagement allowed for genuine comparison and evaluation of total cost of ownership over the next five years, and Thinlabs is proud to have been selected based on both the quality of our offering and the long-term value it delivers.

“Our team’s experience means we’re not learning on the job — we know the clinical environment, we understand procurement processes, and we deliver what we say we will,” Mair added. “That reliability, innovation and consistency is a big part of why health services are turning to us.”
