PRESS RELEASE: YAMAHA X PROCYCLES: A New Era of Performance and Passion for Sydney Riders

Sydney, Australia – Procycles, one of Australia’s most established motorcycle dealerships, has officially joined forces with Yamaha Motor Australia. This new partnership marks a major expansion for Procycles and delivers one of the world’s most respected motorcycle brands to Sydney riders.
The collaboration unites two icons of motorcycling. Procycles, with over 50 years of history, operates from Hornsby and St Peters, covering Sydney’s North Shore, Northern Beaches, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. The company is known for its deep community roots, technical expertise and award-winning service. Yamaha, a global leader in motorcycle innovation, brings a rich heritage of performance and engineering excellence to the Procycles stable.
Procycles Sydney Dealer Principal Vik Popovski described the move as a defining moment for both the dealership and Sydney’s riding community. “Yamaha’s passion for innovation and rider experience fits perfectly with our philosophy,” Vik said. “This partnership means our customers now have access to some of the most advanced and best-loved motorcycles in the world. We are proud to bring the full Yamaha lineup to Sydney through Procycles.”
At the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. revealed six world premiere models under the theme “Feel the Future of Human-Machine Mobility”. The stand focused on next-generation ideas in electric, hybrid and hydrogen power, along with new thinking on how riders interact with machines.
The centre of attention was the MOTOROiD:Λ concept, created to push Yamaha’s research on responsive, self-balancing and rider-aware technology. Alongside it were fresh hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure electric motorcycle concepts, each showing a different approach to future mobility. Yamaha also presented the hydrogen-powered H2 Buddy Porter concept, giving visitors a look at the company’s work in alternative fuels.
The stand featured several mid-development prototypes, a range of electric bicycles and a set of powered wheelchair concepts that hinted at Yamaha’s wider mobility ambitions. Together, the collection gave a clear picture of how the company sees the next stage of movement on two wheels and beyond.
The introduction of Yamaha to Procycles brings Sydney riders access to the entire range of Yamaha motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and ROVs, all supported by Procycles’ award-winning service team. From the adventure-ready Tenere 700 to the street-focused MT series and learner-approved YZF models, Procycles is ready to meet the needs of every rider, from first timers to seasoned professionals.
Vik Popovski added, “This partnership is more than just about selling motorcycles. It is about bringing together heritage, innovation and community. Yamaha’s arrival at Procycles is a celebration of everything that makes riding special in Australia.”
Procycles Hornsby and St Peters carry a wide selection of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters. Availability changes through the year, so customers can check with either store for current stock. Both locations offer full sales, service and parts support for Yamaha riders.
