April 15, 2020: The Pepe, invented by indigenous pensioner Peter Crawford, is a new hand held lung physiotherapy device which clears airways, helps strengthen and protect lungs and supports the respiratory system. Inventor Peter Crawford, a youthful and charismatic 70 year old from the Gold Coast was brought up on a farm near Cessnock in the Hunter Valley. His grandmother was an Italian immigrant interested in deep breathing and all things natural and was truly ahead of her time, while his grandfather was for the local district an indigenous witch doctor known as a Kurdaitcha. Peter claims their influence on the Pepe invention was significant and says ,“I have always been trying to make the best natural, drug free device that ensures correct diaphragmatic breathing and lung cleansing. The Pepe does this and also importantly helps build a stronger immunity by eliminating the mucous, bacteria and other contaminants from the lungs. Dozens of papers in peer reviewed medical journals have been written over the last 35 years validating the effectiveness of Pep, positive expiratory pressure, therapy for breathing, lung and respiratory disorders for people of all ages. Peter’s pipe shaped Pep device is lightweight and is made with a hard plastic mouthpiece at one end and a protective perforated plastic cover at the other end and a stainless steel ball resting in a circular cone inside the Pepe device. The ball floats up and down with the user’s forced expirations through the device.
