PRESS RELEASE: TURSA Announces $1 Million Community Grant Program to Celebrate 30th Anniversary

Tursa Employment & Training is pleased to announce the launch of the TURSA Community Grant Program. With a total funding pool of $1,000,000, this program aims to support and empower local not-for-profit organisations.

An initiative of the Board of Directors as part of TURSA’s 30 year anniversary, it is designed to enhance the capacity of local not-for-profits to deliver impactful programs, strengthen support networks for vulnerable people, and promote collaboration among community organisations and other stakeholders.

Chairperson Glenn Costello said that “This represents a significant investment back into the communities we serve. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we believe it is fitting to support and recognise other local organisations that share TURSA’s passion for helping vulnerable individuals have a brighter future.”

Key Details of the TURSA Community Grants Program:

· Total Funding: $1,000,000

· Grant Amount: Up to $30,000 per grant or more

· Application Deadline: June 13, 2025

· Notification of Successful Applicants: July – August 2025

Eligibility Criteria:

· Must be a registered not-for-profit organisation with ACNC and an active ABN.

· Operate within TURSA’s service areas.
