1. The spot is private.

Cats are often timid of loud noises, so to avoid any toilet accidents hitting the rug, don’t place the litter box in any noisy areas, like the TV room next to the washing machine or the most active rooms in the house. Find a reliably quiet spot.
3. The spot is easy to access.
Needing to use the toilet and not having one handy can be stressful for our cats, so make sure that your cat’s litter tray is available 24/7 for your kitty. Avoid areas where obstacles might build up (such as laundry piles) or where doors might accidentally close. 4. The spot is away from their food.
