PRESS RELEASE: A nine-medal haul for Idyll at the Melbourne International Wine Competition

The results from the 2022 Melbourne International Wine Competition were recently announced and
Idyll has collected a total of nine medals for a combination of branded and private label wines. The
impressive haul includes three gold medals, one silver and five bronze medals. This year, the
competition had over 1,000 submissions from eight countries, across 50 categories. The full list of
awards Idyll has collected is below:

On the back of international success in New York (New York International Wine Competition) and
Oregon (USA Wine Ratings) in the last two months, Idyll has now obtained recognition for their
quality products on home soil. These awards cap off an incredible July and August, where Idyll’s
locally made wines collected a phenomenal 22 medals.

General Manager of Beverage Production Martin Cooper noted “22 medals in two months is an
achievement the beverage manufacturing team at Idyll are immensely proud of. The team prides
itself on producing quality products every day, and we are humbled to receive worldwide
recognition.”

Sales Manager James McDonnell noted “being awarded 9 medals at the Melbourne International
Wine Show showcases our amazing winemaking, cellar and packaging teams. We have now
been awarded 31 medals from wine shows around the world in 2022. This is an amazing

accessible wines.”
