PRESS RELEASE: Fastest Ascent of Everest by a Woman – Everest Climbing Expert Available for Comment
A new world record for the fastest summiting of Everest by a woman has been set. Phunjo Sherpa completed the base camp to summit climb in 14 hours and 31 minutes today.
Her ascent smashed the previous Guinness World record time of 25 hours 50 minutes set in 2021.

Allie Pepper is a record-holding Australian mountaineer who is currently in Nepal as part of her quest to climb all 14 of the highest mountains in the world without using supplemental oxygen.
She is also the author of “So, You Want to Climb Mt Everest?” which encapsulates her knowledge from 23 years of climbing mountains.
