PRESS RELEASE: GDM Progresses Challenger Commissioning Ahead of Full Production

Great Divide Mining Ltd (ASX: GDM) has continued commissioning activities at its Challenger Gold Mine processing plant in Adelong, NSW, with all major equipment now inspected, maintained and tested under load as the Company moves steadily toward full production.
Over recent weeks the plant’s crushing circuit, grinding circuit and ball mill have all been brought online and operated under commissioning conditions. The Company’s newly installed spiral separators have also been successfully integrated into the processing flow sheet, allowing continuous processing and recovery of gold concentrate.
The commissioning phase is focused on optimising plant performance — balancing material throughput with maximum gold recovery across the circuit. Ore is now being processed through the full plant while operators closely monitor flow rates, conduct frequent sampling and refine operating parameters to maximise both recovery percentages and tonnes processed per hour.
“The commissioning phase is a critical step in preparing the plant for sustained production,” said Great Divide Mining CEO Justin Haines.
“Challenger has been carefully recommissioned over recent months, with every component inspected, serviced or upgraded where required,” Mr Haines said.
“Our processing approach relies on recycled water and gravity separation rather than chemical extraction. Commissioning is about balancing flow rates with gold recovery and continually sampling and testing the circuit, so we recover the maximum gold possible from each tonne of ore,” he continued.
“As part of the commissioning process, ore is now being processed through the full circuit with gold concentrate recovered during testing and optimisation runs,” said Haines.
“Commissioning activities will continue as GDM works toward the commencement of full production at Challenger.”
