Victorian-based wedding and events group Nudo brings The Trust into its growing portfolio.
Located on the iconic Flinders Lane, right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, the former Port of Melbourne
Authority building boasts a superlative space that can house up to 500 guests.

Manhattan meets Melbourne, the venue’s genesis is a story of 20th century Beaux-Arts heritage features.
Maintaining historical aspects and preserving original fixtures, designers and architects are working to
marry old-world craftsmanship with contemporary flair and a touch of the experimental. Guests enter
through the revolving door, the lobby is enveloped in polished marble and energised with strategic
splashes of gold. A contemporary bar sits centrally in the space and flows through the building tying the
lobby and grand hall together. The Trust is a truly luxurious space, restored to represent the next
generation of couples celebrating their love and people just wanting to throw a good old fashioned party.
Scheduled to officially open February 2023, the venue is proving popular amongst the newly engaged and
those planning grand events. The Nudo team are hosting previews of the venue for those looking to plan
future events or lock in the perfect wedding venue.

The Trust is part of Nudo’s auspicious acquisition plan and is a welcomed addition to the six existing
venues and complementary experience brands spanning floristry, styling, photography and catering. Will
Campbell, group CEO of Nudo, stated that the addition of The Trust furthered the group’s growth strategy,
and explains how the latest acquisition complements the increasing portfolio.
