PRESS RELEASE: Idyll collects a second GOLD in the USA
Idyll Wine Co has collected a full suite of medals at the USA Wine Ratings competition held in Oregon this August. Idyll was awarded 10 medals including a Gold for their Arcadian Shiraz. The Arcadian Shiraz is a multi-award-winning wine, with an impressive portfolio of accolades including a Double Gold at the London Wine Competition and Gold at the San Francisco Wine Competition.
The USA Wine Ratings competition judges wines in three key categories – quality, value and
packaging. Idyll entered 10 wines in the competition and came home with one gold, six silver and three bronze medals. All wines that collected medals are made from grapes sourced from throughout Victoria or the Murray Darling wine region and are crushed on site at Idyll’s Moorabool Valley (Geelong) facility. Idyll’s state-of-the-art production facility also bottles and distributes these wines. The full list of award-winning wines is below:

• 2019 Idyll Victoria Shiraz – SILVER

• 2020 Idyll Victoria Sauvignon Blanc – SILVER
• NV Arcadian Brut Cuvee – SILVER
• 2020 Arcadian Sauvignon Blanc – BRONZE
• 2019 Arcadian Merlot – BRONZE
• 2019 Arcadian Cabernet Sauvignon – BRONZE
Executive Director Andrew Byers said “on the back of winning Gold in New York earlier this
month, we are delighted to have collected another gold medal. We are incredibly proud and
humbled that the wines we produce and package locally in Geelong, are recognised on an
international stage. These wines range from $10-$12 so their affordability, combined with their quality, make them fiercely attractive in the market.”

These award-winning wines are available to purchase at Idyll’s local Cellar Door open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm.
