Merger of Stannards Accountants and Advisors with TGS Partners to create Melbourne’s premiere boutique Family Office focused Chartered Accounting practice

Melbourne, Australia — 7 September 2022 — Today Stannards Accountants and Advisors and TGS Partners announced the merger of the two firms to create Stannards TGS, an eight Partner firm focused on providing bespoke, end-to-end advisory and assurance services to privately owned businesses and High Net Worth clientele.

The combined firms will offer family office services including tax advisory & compliance, business services, accounting, audit and forensic services under one roof.

Positive Client Impact

Stannards and TGS Partners clients are familiar with the high standard of personalised service offered by their trusted advisors within each firm. Bringing together the two firms has been a long-term goal of each firm to enable a broader depth of in-house expertise to be offered to clients.

Timing

The merger will take effect on 1 October 2022. For existing clients of each firm, it will be ‘business as usual’ as we integrate, and TGS Partners moves to a fully refurbished Stannards office in 2023.

Background

Based in South Yarra, Stannards Accountants and Advisors was established in 1946 and is currently led by 5 Partners with 50 staff.
TGS Partners was established in 2004 and is currently led by 3 Partners with 20 staff.

Stannards TGS will be led by Chairman Marino Angelini, Deputy Chairman Michael Shulman and joint CEO’s Darren Heveren and Peter Angelini.
