PRESS RELEASE: Music artists across the globe collaborate for the 4th annual WhiteStickFest to celebrate International White Cane Day

White Stick Fest is an online collaboration of music artists that provides a platform for established and emerging blind and low-vision artists to perform on a day that recognises the incredible impact of a white cane in building self-resilience and achievement for the blind and low-vision community.

“We are excited to bring together headline blind and low-vision artists like local performers Lara Nakhle from The Voice 2017, Connor Wink from The Voice 2022, Summer Giddings, Kirsten Busby, and International performers American Idol contestant Murphy, Cobhams Asuquo, Tonal Vision, Mark Erelli, Albi and the Wolves, Blind Joe and Vernon Barnard. The power of WhiteStickFest is our ability to connect high-calibre artists with communities worldwide. We are trying to make White Stick Fest as accessible and inclusive as possible, delivering world-class performances right to your device.” said Duncan Steward, the owner and founder of organising partner Platinum Cre8ive.

WhiteSticksFest will also feature performances from sighted contemporaries, including Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Kimie Miner, Canadian folk band Wild Rivers and the world’s most popular children’s group, The Wiggles.

4. Categorisation

5. Linking and fair-use

You agree not to add more than one link to a website in any press release. Over-linking solely for Search Engine Optimisation purposes is not allowed and is advised against due to penalties that may be associated with over-linking. And our gremlins will hunt down over-linking and delete such transgressions.
