Pet Parlour recently conducted a cost-of-living survey of its 6,000 customers to see how inflation was affecting pet owners and their pets. The results showed that over 70% of customers agreed that inflation pressures had impacted their spending on their pets.

Concerningly 33% were not worried that increased prices would make it difficult for them to afford to feed their pets and only 8% weren’t worried about being able to afford medical bills.

The most concerning figures for me are that only 66% of people are worried they will be able to afford to feed their pets and 92% of people are worried about being able to afford their pets medical bills.”
